Education : International

At present we can only offer some basic information facilities in the UK.

If you feel you would prefer to send your child to a school specialising in dyslexia in the UK, you can obtain details of these schools from the Council for the Registration of Schools Teaching Dyslexic Pupils ( known as the CReSTeD List).

This list includes local education authority schools and is “the only list of schools visited and accredited for dyslexia care, free; updated twice a year and includes many independent, day and boarding schools.”

Dyslexia India - Maharashtra Dyslexia Association

The Dyslexia India Association's Resource Centre at Deonar and two Resource Rooms at Churchgate and Breach Candy, in Mumbai, offer remedial and diagnostic services. A small reference library at the Resource Centre at Deonar is open to all. The MDA promotes a holistic approach, recognising that affected students can benefit from speech and occupational therapy, counselling as well as remedial teaching, all of which can help them cope better with their academic difficulties. Each Resource Room is managed by a psychologist, a speech and language developmental therapist and remedial teachers.
